The People’s Emergency Briefing

The National Emergency Briefing

The National Emergency Briefing” was held in Westminster Central Hall on 27/11/2025. Organised by independent campaigners, it brought together leading experts on nature, climate, extreme weather, tipping points, food security, health, national security, economics, and energy transition to address 1,200 leaders from across politics, industry, faith, media and more.  They laid out the risks of not acting boldly enough and explained how investing in genuine emergency action will benefit us in many ways, including spending now to save later.

The documentary film version of the event called “The People’s Emergency Briefing” is now being rolled out throughout the UK, with over 2,200 screenings already planned - in all kinds of venues including city, town and village halls, conference centres, churches, school halls. The aim is to urge MPs and government to run a comprehensive public engagement campaign so that everyone understands the profound risks this crisis poses to themselves and their families and can take steps to prepare.  This is not alarmism but readiness.
